Evidence / PUBLIC-SAFE SUMMARY

How the counters are counted

Recomputed by website build

The website build counts only Swift files inside App, and sums their physical lines including comments and blanks. It excludes generated products, old local-AI code, tests and website source from the app line count.

Defined XCTest methods are counted separately in core and UI Swift test files. A test definition is not proof of a successful run; recorded app pass results are reported separately.

Synthetic participant count comes from explicit generator assignments. Derived metric kinds and selectable analysis outcomes come from their Swift declarations. Git commits are reachable commits at the captured HEAD, not coding hours or student-only effort.

Counters carry source paths, source hashes and calculation descriptions in the public provenance download. They are a build-time snapshot and update when the website is rebuilt.

Supporting workspace artifacts

Source locations identify the original artifacts in the private project. Raw files are not publicly served. Hashes identify the reviewed source snapshot; they are provenance, not external certification.
